Opsview Enterprise 3.6.0 released!

Opsera are very pleased to announce Opsview Enterprise 3.6.0. This release is available to organisations with an Opsview Enterprise Service Subscription (ESS).

Opsview Community 3.5.2 released!

Opsera are pleased to announce the release of Opsview Community edition version 3.5.2.

This release contains the following enhancements:

  • Slave clustering: Improvements to synchronisation of acknowledgements, downtimes and comments. See the documentation for more information
  • Graphing now has a toggle button for "snap to now" and "auto scale", with better calculations of min/max range of data points
  • check_snmp_linkstatus now returns OK if the interface admin status is down (thanks to Helmut "Henry78" Eberharter for the patch)
  • Speed up of Nagios CGIs when lots of comments or downtimes are set
  • 'Module' menu now generated dynamically based on installed modules

Opsview Community 3.5.1 released!

Opsera are pleased to announce the release of Opsview Community edition version 3.5.1.

This release contains the following new features:

  • A method for defining the freshness interval for passive checks
  • A new viewport style called Host Summary, providing a summarised view of host status
  • The ability to mark a service check as having Markdown format output, for display in Opsview status pages

Opsview Enterprise 3.4.1 released!

Opsera are very pleased to announce Opsview Enterprise 3.4.1. This release is available to organisations with an Enterprise Service Subscription (ESS).

This release fixes a security vulnerability raised by Lee aram (aramlee@a3sc.co.kr) and Cho Jeong won (ngnicky@a3sc.co.kr) at A3 Security (www.a3security.com). Thanks again to A3 Security for their work on Opsview.

Opsview Community 3.5.0 released!

Opsera are pleased to announce the release of Opsview Community edition version 3.5.0.

This release contains the following new features:

  • A complete web user interface redesign, with new layout and icons.
  • Support for Internet Explorer 8 and Google Chrome web browsers.
  • A new Javascript framework for displaying performance graphs. Providing much improved graphing capabilities [documentation]

Opsera are very pleased to announce Opsview Enterprise 3.4.0. This release is available to organisations with an Enterprise Service Subscription (ESS).

New Features

  • Internationalisation, providing multilingual support
  • Events View. This allows you to see all events within Opsview, or filtered by host, service name, host group, keyword, state, state type or any combination of the above!
  • A Nagios migration utility which can take an existing Nagios configuration and import into Opsview
  • A spreadsheet import utility so you can define your configuration in Excel or OpenOffice before importing into Opsview

Opsera are pleased to announce the release of Opsview Community 3.3.2.

Opsview 2.14.5 released!

Opsera are pleased to announce the release of Opsview 2.14.5.

This includes an enhancement called host excluded service checks where you can exclude service checks for a host, even if it is included from an associated host template.

There are various bug fixes as well, including:

  • Fixed query_host and snmpwalk when over 10000 bytes of data returned
  • Fixed opsview_sync_ldap to encode problem characters from LDAP information (thanks to Nguyen Thai Ha)

Opsview Enterprise 3.2.1 released!

Opsera are pleased to announce the Opsview Enterprise 3.2.1 release. This release is available to organisations with an Enterprise Service Subscription (ESS).

We've added the following small enhancement:

  • Added ability to configure check period, check interval, check attempts and retry interval for hosts

We've also fixed the following issues:

  • Merged patch from Nagios 3.2.0 for incorrect initialisation of worker pthread. Affects external commands after lots of reloads
  • Fixed URL for host icons on host edit page when using a different base prefix
